Math at Hand Problem Solving:
Math at Hand Problem Solving uses a research-based, scaffolded approach to help students learn effective math and reading strategies and solve word problems successfully. Each grade-level specific Problem Solving Book:
- builds math understanding through activities targeting critical thinking, reading, and writing skills;
- emphasizes content-area vocabulary;
- assesses students' math progress and understanding;
- includes guided, cross-curricular reading for all math activities;
