License Agreeement about Great Source eServices
Before using Great Source eServices, you should carefully read the following License Agreement. Logging into this system indicates your acceptance of the terms and conditions contained in this License Agreement. If you do not agree with the terms, you should not log in. Contact our Customer Service at 800-289-4490 regarding your unused subscription and your money will be refunded.
Q: HOW DO I ACCESS GREAT SOURCE ESERVICES?
A: You have been provided with an access code that allows you to register and access our Great Source eServices for the specified duration and license quantity that you purchased.
Q: HOW MAY I USE THIS ACTIVATION CODE?
A: You may use this activation code in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this License Agreement, and it is your responsibility to advise all users of these terms and conditions. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishers and its licensors own and retain all title, copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights in and to the content in the Great Source eServices. Information entered by the school/district is always done at the discretion of the school/district. The school/district owns all right, title, and interest to that information for the duration of this License Agreement.

You may not otherwise license, sublicense, rent, or lease the Great Source eServices, or give it to any other person, without permission from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishers. |

You may not give your user name and password to any other person. |

You may not remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, proprietary rights, disclaimer, or warning notice included on or embedded in any part of the Great Source eServices. |

It is illegal to reverse compile, reverse assemble, reverse engineer, modify, or merge the software. You may not create derivative works based upon the Great Source eServices in whole or in part. |
Please note the school/district holds the licensing rights to all usernames. When the teacher or student is no longer affiliated with the licensed school and class with which the Great Source eServices was being used, the username may not be used.

Q: HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE ENOUGH LICENSES?
A: Your school/district should have purchased one license for every student that will access the Great Source eServices (teacher licenses are not counted). Should additional students need to access the system, you can contact Customer Service to purchase more. Should additional students access the system without purchase of more licenses, you will receive a usage report showing the number of users that have exceeded your limit. At that time, you will be instructed to purchase additional licenses.

Q: ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON GOVERNMENT USE OF THE PRODUCT?
A: Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishers provides this product to government agencies subject to restricted rights. Notice--Notwithstanding any lease or license agreement that may pertain to, or accompany the delivery of, this software, the rights of the government regarding its use, duplication and disclosure are set forth in subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at DFARS 242.227-7013 and subparagraph (c)(1) and (2) of the Commercial Computer software -- Restricted Rights clause at FAR 52.227-19.
